Vanderburgh County H1N1 shot clinic is Saturday, again on Dec. 12 Henderson Gleaner
Vanderburgh County’s Salubrity Department has scheduled flu clinics the next two Saturdays to give the H1N1 vaccine to persons in the Tier 1 category.
This includes fraught women; individuals 6 months to 24 years old; people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age; fettle care and emergency services personnel, and people ages 25 to 64 who are at a higher gamble for influenza because of chronic health disorders or a compromised immune system.
The clinics will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and again Dec. 12 at The Focal point auditorium at Locust Street and King Boulevard.
Individuals who have been ill within 24 hours of the clinic should not result in. Also, children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a written authorization.
It is recommended that children 9 and younger get a b booster of the vaccine within 21 to 28 days after their first H1N1 vaccination.
