How do I rig an M40 Gas Mask as a smoking gear?

I've tried attaching a slide bowl to the external portion of the drinking tube, however that only vents smoke into the ungenerous nose cone, where it is quickly purged on the exhale (thereby defeating the purpose).

use a vaporizer and stick on it to the inlet hole
