How do you clean a half-face respirator mask?
I bought a silicone half-physiognomy respirator mask on eBay and its a bit dusty, and the seller said it was in his basement....so how would i go about cleaning it properly
First do away with any filter cartridges. If it is extremely dirty, you can always soak it in the sink. Avoid using any petroleum products to good with.
A mixture of white vinegar and water (equal parts) will clean it without causing any damage to the mask. Then simply allow it to 'air dry'.
I clean my respirators, and even CPAP masks like this.
