Two men wanted for armed robbery, assault of store clerk Business Gazette

Control are looking for two men who robbed a Gaithersburg check cashing store this morning and assaulted an employee before competition off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Around 8 a.m., two men walked into Bancomercio De El Salvador at 504 E. Diamond Ave., said Montgomery County The coppers spokeswoman Officer Melanie Brenner.

One of the men had a gun and demanded money from the female clerk, Brenner said.

After the two men stuffed the bundle in a bag, they tried to tie the woman's hands together, but she fought them off, Brenner said. Police wouldn't say what the men tried to tie the abigail's hands with, but Brenner said the men struck the woman before fleeing. The woman received youngster injuries, Brenner said, but it's unknown if the woman was taken to a hospital.

The man with the handgun is described as a black man between 5-feet 8-inches towering and 5-feet 9-inches tall and between 240 pounds and 250 pounds, Brenner said. The man was wearing a black bandana over
